10/16 - PINK LIGHT WALK AND EDUCATION SEMINAR - This event is in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The illuminated walk will begin with registration from 5:30–6:00 PM at the East Stroudsburg University Keystone Room. There will be a brief program from 6-6:30 PM along with educational materials and music. The walk will start at 6:30 PM and will follow a designated route to the Loder Building on South Green Street. Rain or shine, so dress appropriately for the weather. The first 500 to register will receive a loan of a pink battery operated candle to carry and a free T-shirt. The candles will be collected at the Loder Building so that you can receive a free raffle ticket for the many items that will be available.  Parking for the event is available in the South Green Street Lot on ESU campus and the Municipal Lot near the Loder Building .

             PLEASE NOTE:  The next regular scheduled meeting of the Pocono Area Running Club has been moved from Tuesday, November 4, 2008 (Election Day) to Monday, November 10, 2008 at 7:00 pm at the Monroe County Safety Center.
