. Ed is a huge supporter of our running community and this race is one of the few we have right in downtown Stroudsburg. I still remember my first time crossing the finish line, my first 5 mile race, and Ed was there to congratulate me and all the finishers no matter what our finishing times were.
So please consider helping out. Even if you aren't available that day there is lots to do before race day!
-There's yet another new half marathon in the area. Runners World has announced a run festival planned for October in Bethlehem. You can find details at www.runnersworld.com/rwhalf/
- Social Committee - Recently, the club has put together some social events that many of our members have enjoyed, including the holiday party, several group runs, and the ski day. We're planning to continue these types of events and we're pleased that Lisa Flory has volunteered to chair our social committee. Lisa is hoping to put together a strong committee. Contact her at

Maureen Krinsky President
Maureen was Born in New York and raised in Massachusetts. She now lives in East Stroudsburg with her husband Jud, and three sons. Maureen Started running in college and was a sprinter back when running shoes were a new invention. She has continued running since but has run longer distances for the past 12 years. Maureen is an avid waterskiier, skiier, gardener, and loves to read. Her hopes for the club are to help grow our community and to do more events that bring runners together socially. Linda Yeager, Vice President -
Linda, born and raised in NJ, now lives in East Stroudsburg with husband Greg and two children, Gregory and Madelyn. She has been running since 2007. She enjoys spending time with her family, running with Greg and their friends in PARC, cycling and skiing. The highlight of her running career was crossing the finish line to the Run for the Red marathon with Greg in 2009. You can contact Linda at

Jim Mannello, Secretary -
Jim, born and raised in Philadelphia, now lives and works in the West End, and has been running since 2003. He has been involved in community organizations as a soccer coach, a member of West End Rotary and a past member of the Board of Directors of Pocono Family YMCA. Highlight of my running career- running a half marathon with my son in Moab, Utah. Jim's other interests include biking, skiing, gardening, and "almost anything else that gets me outside".
